Today's daily tarot card pull is "Autumn Consequences."

Now, let me begin by saying that I love tarot. I love the guidance it offers, and how it invites you to look inward and examine yourself. I love how eerily accurate it can be. I even love when I do a reading and am left going, "What?" Because those are the readings that challenge me the most.

That said, pulling a card called "Consequences" can be a bit unnerving!

This card is traditionally the "Justice" card. (The deck that I'm using this autumn is called Seasons of the Witch; you can find more info here.) Justice is a card that demands honesty. It asks, "Have you been forthright? Have you acted with integrity?" I think of it a little like Santa Claus: making a list and checking it twice. In the Justice card, things are coming to a head, and whether you end up on the "good" or "bad" side depends on your actions.

Autumn Consequences softens this card somewhat. It's more about reaping what has been sown—which is hopefully something good! All actions have consequences, good or bad. This card is neutral. It simply indicates that those consequences are coming to a head, and advises you to be prepared for them.

I don't know what consequences may be in store for me. But with this card in my sights, I'm sure that I'll find out soon enough.
